Within a few minutes, Z+F 3D laser scanners can provide accurate measurement data of crime scenes and accidents – indoors and outdoors. This data speeds up the investigation process by "freezing" the scanned crime scene and documenting it. These evaluations are accepted in court. Accident investigation The phase based 3D laser scanners of Z+F enable an accurate three-dimensional capturing of complete accident scenes with all the details like deformations of the vehicles or skidmarks. Using this technology, the question of the possible causes and sequence of the accidents can be analysed and answered more easily. Crime scene investigation The complete securing of evidence at crime scenes and the geometry measurement on the spot are of great importance. A crime scene is normally captured from various positions by the Z+F IMAGER®. By combining these scans, the viewer gets an overview of the complete scene.

Technical data The AM 03 C is an electropneumatic, modular stripper-crimper for rapid and reliable processing of small, loose male and female contacts and for small cross-sections. The contacts are automatically fed by a feeding bowl. The adjustment of the stripping and crimping depth is manually. 50 different programs can be stored. Adjustment and programming is done with the touch display. The touch display shows all important data, functions and status. The machine may be adapted to different contacts and wires using the corresponding tools. For listed buildings, there are regular new construction tasks. Often there are no adequate plans on the basis of which planning, modernization or renovation can be carried out. Due to the very high scan rate of more than 1 million measured values per second, range resolution in the millimeter range and a measuring accuracy in the mm range, even the capture of the finest structures and details is still possible with the 3D laser scanners from Zoller + Fröhlich. The 3D documentation is therefore the ideal prerequisite for reconstructions of, for example, design conditions or sensitive stucco work. The recorded inventories, damage, structures and details are recorded in databases and allow a faithful reconstruction of the entire object or of parts of the object at any later time.

In the range of 0.08 up to 2.5 mm2 (AWG 28 – 14) wires and contacts can be crimped. Standard is a 4/8-indent crimp corresponding to MIL 22520. Optionally is it possible to adapt the machine for other crimpforms. Manual adjustment of the crimping-depth (by option automatically by motor). The machine can be converted for other contacts by using specific tool kits. All tools are easily replaceable. The crimping process is started by a foot switch. The cable feeder trolley represents an innovative solution for the efficient processing of cables with various cross-sections and quantities, especially in conjunction with the Wire Processing Center. With this additional trolley, cable processing is elevated to a new level. The trolley provides the ability to place up to six different cross-sections simultaneously, ensuring flexible and time-saving handling. Using the cable feeder trolley optimizes the entire cable processing process. The versatility of the trolley allows for efficient handling of different types of cables, be it in terms of cross-section or quantity. This helps streamline workflow and increase productivity.

Technical information The UNIC-L is an electropneumatic driven stripper-crimper. It allows quick and reliable processing of loose insulated Z+F ferrules for cross-sections from 0.5mm2 up to 2.5 mm2 (AWG 20 – 14) with a crimping length of 8 mm. Insulated Z+F ferrules for tri-rated wires (special size “S“) can also be processed.

For Z+F ferrules and integration in fully automatic machines Technical information The electropneumatic driven, easily adaptable crimp modules CM-AEH are specifically designed for Z+F ferrules. They can be integrated in fully automatic machines. Wires and ferrules can be crimped in the range of 0.34 up to 4 mm2 (AWG 22 – 12). Atrapezoidal crimp (CM AEH-G) or quadro crimp (CM AEH-LS) corresponding to DIN46228 part 4 are available. The machines can universally be used in the specified range. Technical information The AI 01 E is a stripping machine driven by an electric motor. Exact stripping of different insulated wires up to an outer diameter of 5 mm is possible. Adjustments are very easy to handle with an adjustmend knob. In addition a special funnel to infeed thin wires is also delivered. Special: An integrated battery allows up to 10,000 working cycles when fully charged and without external power supply.

Zoller + Fröhlich has developed the Z+F PROFILER® 9012 and the Z+F PROFILER® 9020 laser scanners for mobile mapping applications, which can be flexibly integrated into the mobile mapping systems of almost all MMS providers. Z+F has been offering loose ferrules for multi standard conductors for some time. The ferrules come with an extended plastic collar and allow flexible processing of various conductors. From now on, as a world‘s first, ferrules on reel will also be available for processing multi standard conductors. The details are as follows: Cross sections and colors The ferrules on reel will be available with cross sections from 0.5 - 2.5 mm² (AWG 20-14), crimping lengths from 8 - 10 mm and in the established colors.
